Autorun in Windows XP is a mechanism that would automatically read the data on a device that we put in our computer. For example, when the flashdisk is plugged in our computer , the data which in the flashdisk are directly read by the computer. - At the start menu choose Run
- Then type gpedit.msc and press OK
- Select User Configuration> Administrative Templates> System
- Look for the Turn off Autoplay and change into Enabled. Do not forget to replace the Turn Off Autoplay On the All drives then press ok.
